93.72kW Solar PV System at Caringbah High School
Perdaman Advanced Energy (PAE) with partner RK solar designed, procured and installed a 93kWp Grid connected photovoltaic (PV) power system at Caringbah High School located at 85 Willarong Road, Caringbah NSW 2229.

The system is projected to produce 117,697 kWh annually. Carbon offset approximately 675 tonnes per annum which is the equivalent of planting 96 trees per annum.
Outcomes
The project was funded by the school P&C and the Department of Education and it is expected to save Caringbah High School around $15,835 per year with a projected payback period of 6 years and project life expectancy of 30 years.
The installation was executed around school hours to minimize any disruption to staff and students. This included weekend work and working on school holidays. The logistics of deliveries were planned with the school to ensure delivery points and times were convenient to the school. Fencing was utilised to keep students away from equipment. Grid protection and export limitation controls were installed to meet the Distribution Network Service Provider’s requirements.
