LED Street Lighting Business Case, Funding Application and EPCM (Engineering, Procurement and Construction Management)
Goldfields WA
PAE project managed the retrofit of over 2,500 streetlights in the Goldfields and Esperance regions for GVROC, the Goldfields Voluntary Regional Organisation of Councils.
The project was funded by Royalties for Regions money in conjunction with the Federally funded Community Energy Efficiency Program (CEEP) Round 2.
Because it was a CEEP project, PAE needed to provide governance from initiation through delivery to close including reporting to Federal Government funding bodies, calling upon our familiarity with the specific management, procedural, reporting and other requirements of CEEP.
Outcomes
- Greater uniformity and levels of lighting across and along the street is expected, as well as improved colour rendering and visibility, lower glare and less depreciation of the light output over time with an asset life up to 10 times longer
