Hawaiian are a privately owned WA based property group established in 1993 with a portfolio across the commercial, retail, hospitality and land development markets. They were interested to install solar PV on their Melville Plaza Shopping Centre and engaged Perdaman Advanced Energy (PAE) to independently complete a business case for the project.
PAE undertook a detailed feasibility assessment on 3 options for integrating solar PV at the Shopping Centre. For each option we specified performance outcomes, system configuration, logistical / installation constraints and risks. Our engineering analysis provided bankable system generation forecasts and financial analysis captured Authority fees; capital, operational and maintenance expenditures; possible grants and financial incentives; cost benefits (electricity savings, return on investment (ROI) and Internal Rate of Return (IRR) figures) and project funding options.
