Project Outline
As part of the Department of Education’s Solar School Program tender secured by PAE, a 40 kW PV system was installed at Middle Swan Primary School. The system consists of 80 solar panels distributed across two buildings. The Fronius smart meter used is configured in such a way that it communicates with both inverters across the two buildings effectively maintaining the power exported into the grid within limits, while also ensuring remote monitoring of the system.

Outcome
PAE expertly delivered a 40 kW solar PV system with complete client satisfaction. The system generates almost 60% of the school’s daytime consumption resulting in annual energy cost savings of approximately 33%.
