With so many solar retailers out there, how do you separate the competition and decide which company “wins” your business? Approved Solar Retailers have signed onto the Clean Energy Council’s (CEC) voluntary Code of Conduct – giving their clients a peace of mind that competitors may not be able to provide.
The Clean Energy Council runs a voluntary accreditation scheme that approves and recommends high quality retailers of solar PV in Australia for their service and commitment to upholding best practice.
You may already know that it’s mandatory to use a CEC-approved installer, but fewer people are aware of this voluntary scheme for retailers to affirm their commitment to ethical conduct and industry best practice – including a 5-year retailer warranty.
Check out this short and sweet video for an overview of what the Code is all about.
If you still need convincing, see what the CEC’s Chief Executive Kane Thornton has to say about the importance of the Code: that it’s all about safety and quality, so both the customer and the renewable energy industry are the ultimate winners.
So why not look for this logo and make an Approved Retailer your first base for delivering PV with peace of mind? Perdaman Advanced Energy is proud to be one of just a handful in WA, and we wear our colours with pride!
Hedge your bets with the right team when it comes to solar, because it’s not worth your time, money or effort to let the cowboys onto your roof – and deal with the headaches that follow. Learn more about the scheme and find an Approved Retailer here at the CEC website.
A message from the Clean Energy Council: The voluntary Code of Conduct gives customers the peace of mind that their solar retailer is committed to delivering quality, compliance and good client service.
